The crossover will get a new platform developed at GM for midsize all-wheel drive cars – later the novelty will share it with Buick Enclave and Chevrolet Traverse. The current range of motor, according to some sources, is unlikely to change. According to other sources, it can be set up with a two-liter turbo engine, developing 280 hp. This engine may replace the three-liter aspirated, which is now installed to the Cadillac SRX: turbo, firstly, is more powerful, and secondly, more economical. Probably the current 3.6-liter V6 will be upgraded by the engineers and will provide 325 hp.
