The American version of Cadillac XTS sedan

An updated Cadillac XTS sedan with American market destination has been officially presented. In the US, the modified car will be based on the Epsilon II platform. In addition, there will be offered an optional four-wheel drive with the Haldex clutch, an atmospheric 3.6 V6 generating 308 hp and 355 Nm of torque, as well as biturbo 3.6 V6 with the capacity of 416 horses and 500 Nm and even six-speed automatic transmission.

The restyled XTS has got a new grille, hood, wings, bumpers, LED optics, a trunk lid without a platform for a license plate. As a result, the car length is 5103 mm that is 28 mm shorter. The carmakers provided the model by Magnetic Ride Control shock absorbers, 20-inch wheels and different chassis. The novelty is also complemented by Brembo brakes in front and an improved sound insulation. The main innovation that is included into the new package is the next generation OnStar information and entertainment system supplied by 8-inch display, as well as four USB ports, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto interfaces.

The interior has got only few changes. The top sedans are designed by leather and wooden finish, front seats with massage and heating option, Bose audio system and 14 speakers and 3-zone climate control. The debut of a modified Cadillac XTS sedan will take place at the 2017 CIAS Auto Show.
