The company plans also include a release of an updated version of a Cadillac ELR luxury coupe. This car will be equipped with a hybrid power plant consisting of a T-shaped lithium-ion battery pack, electric motor and a four-cylinder gasoline engine.

Finally, Cadillac is considering a production of an all-electric car. Apparently, this new product will have to compete directly with the luxury Tesla Model S electric car, which recently got a wheel drive version.
