Cadillac is testing new crossover of 2016 model year

American carmaker Cadillac will make a presentation of crossover that will replace the SRX model. This event is scheduled for the next year. At the moment, a car with 3.6 liters engine has being tested on public roads. According to the western car agencies, the car will receive the index XT5. Production of the car has been agreed with the management of Cadillac, in particular with the director of Cadillac Henry Leland.

Experts of Worldcarsfans, which has quite a lot of own sources in different companies, reported that the car will be produced at the Cadillac factory in Detroit. At the moment, the specialists are already testing this vehicle on the roads of Canada. The novelty differs from SRX model in quite neat lines of the body, traditional Cadillac vertical headlamps, and stylish large grille.

As for power plants, it is known that the car will be equipped with a very powerful 2.0-liter engine with an output of 265 horsepower. Also, customers will be offered dynamic 3.6-liter naturally aspirated V6 power unit generating 335 horsepower.
