Cadillac compared the new 2016 CT6 sedan with BMW and Audi flagships

New Cadillac’s upcoming full-size luxury flagship sedan will be presented at the International Motor Show in New York, which will open its doors in April. Americans argue that the novelty will be among the most technologically advanced production car with an extremely lightweight body composed of aluminum and a new steel alloy. The Cadillac Company boasted of a six-cylinder turbo engine for a new CT6 flagship sedan. The Americans said that according to its technical parameters, the novelty leave BMW and Audi behind.

Under the hood, Cadillac CT6 is equipped with 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbo engine, which develops 400 hp and up to 543 Nm of torque. Manufacturer even compared this with the motors of competitors from Germany and said that the new product is 27% better than BMW 740i 3-liter V6 turbo (319 hp) and has 29% better performance than the Audi A7 with its turbocharged V6 (314 hp).

Maximum torque of a new Cadillac is available in a range from 2500 to 5000 rev / min. The maximum torque is available only when all cylinders are working, two of them are normally deactivated to conserve fuel. In addition a power unit is equipped with “start / stop” system allowing saving up to 6% of fuel. The engine of the new generation is economical, reliable and provides a smooth running.
