Cadillac Company introduced 2016 CTS-V high-performing luxury sedan

Cadillac presented its luxury 2016 CTS-V sedan at the Detroit Motor Show. The novelty received an aggressive front bumper with the large air intakes, as well as a wide grille with grid structure. In addition, the model is set up with 4 exhaust system pipes, 19-inch forged wheels with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires and carboxylic ventilated brakes.

At extra cost, American sedan buyers will be offered a special carbon “package”, providing more aggressive front splitter and a lighter hood and modified rear diffuser and spoiler providing an excellent aerodynamic performance.

In the interior of the CTS-V there are sports seats with leather with perforated inserts trimming, as well as a Cue multimedia system with 12.3-inch touch screen and Bose audio system.

Under the hood of the car there is a revised 6.2-liter V8 with 855 Nm of torque, coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Cadillac representatives did not hesitate to point out the superiority of the power unit over the less powerful 5.5-liter V8 of Mercedes-Benz and the 4.4-liter twin-turbo of BMW M-Series (585 hp for the E 63 AMG S and 560 hp for the M6, respectively).
